This activity was designed for you to research, master, and present concepts in mathematics in a collaboration. The topic of this project will be the central focus of our study in the near future. The activity is worth 10 extra points, so it provides an opportunity to improve your grade. The project is due on August 17. |

Instructions
|
Step 1. E-mail to the instructor expressing interest in the project by August 8. Check back here on August 10 for your group assignment. Your group will be assigned a separate discussion forum. Only students in the group and the instructor will see postings there.
Step 2. Once the group assignments are published, contact your group team members. Use the discussion forum dedicated to the group or the messaging function within the course. Define and distribute the tasks in the project (some examples are: group leader, formatter, researcher, graphic designer, etc).
Step 3. Discussion Topic: What is the Fundamental Property of Fractions? Search the internet and based on your findings, state the property. Quote your sources. Devise an algebraic example illustrating the property. Also, devise a geometric example illustrating the principle. Include pictures. Create a single file presentation containing your response.
